Who Are We and Why Does it Matter?

The (AICH) the Australian Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy is one of this country’s leading hypnotherapy training providers. Our ultimate purpose is to produce high calibre, thoroughly qualified therapists who bring esteem, effectiveness and great results for clients and the industry. COURSE OPTIONS We offer three different diplomas in clinical hypnotherapy.

1) Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy which requires that you have a counselling background, or are a medical practitioner.

2) Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy which is designed for those who have no experience in the helping fields.

3) Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and NLP, which again has no prerequisites and is designed to get you up to speed to run your own practice quickly and effectively.

Faculty

Our faculty boasts some of the world’s leading hypnotherapy educators and practitioners. As globally-recognised leaders in the profession, they are at the heart of shaping the hypnotherapy landscape, are in regular talks with government, the health insurance industry, professional bodies, and educational institutions.

Our lead trainer is Gordon Young (B.A. Dip. Ed, B.A. (Hons), Dip. C.H., Dip. C.S., is a graduate of the prestigious Milton Erickson Foundation in Phoenix Arizona. Gordon is also former President of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists, and former editor of the Australian Journal of Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (a peer reviewed journal that is subscribed to by universities, hospitals and other educational institutions around the world).

Tightening his focus on the Institute and clinical practice, Gordon continues to be a respected, nationally-recognised figure in the industry. The faculty has links with many of the world’s foremost authorities on hypnotherapy.

In 2010 Michael Yapko's two-day workshop was a highlight for the 2010 Graduating Class. In 2011 our guest lecturer was Bill O’Hanlon from the USA, one of the world’s most respected therapists, cocreator of Solution-Oriented

Therapy, author of 33 books and one of Oprah’s most celebrated guest therapists.
