Hypnotherapy Courses & Training in Sydney with the World's Leading Trainers

Why become a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist?
Here's why...

1) Have a career where there is real job satisfaction and really make a difference in people's lives?
2) Get away from the drudgery and stress of full time work and retrain, not in years, but 20 days plus home study that you can do at your own pace?

3) Create a strong income with the freedom to enjoy it?

If so, your new career starts Saturday November 13
2010 with a 14 day Intensive for those who want to get their qualifications quickly and effectively.

So why study Hypnotherapy?

There are two groups of people who train with us

1) Those looking for a fast track to a new and rewarding career.
2) Those looking to add a powerful new skillset to their existing practice.

Hypnosis can facilitate significant changes in unwanted behaviour and enhance both your physical and mental well-being. When you decide to train with us you will learn how to promote Weight Loss in yourself or others, to Quit Smoking or other addictive or compulsive habits, overcome Anxiety or Depression, or even be free of physical pain.

Hypnotherapy is an extremely quick way to enter the helping field, but more importantly, the research suggests that the skills learned in this training can make you a highly effective agent of change. With the plethora of new research validating the efficacy of the practice, Hypnotherapy is fast becoming a career of choice for people who want to make a real difference in the lives of others.

If a career as a qualified Hypnotherapist appeals to you, the next question is obviously, where do I train?

How do you choose a school and not regret your choice? Ask lots of questions !!!!

1) Do your research. Call the main schools with the best programmes and go and look at their facilities. Talk to the lead trainer, ask them their qualifications/titles and ensure they are a good fit for you. Look at their offices. Would you lbe happy doing what they are doing, or working from such an environment?  Are they experts in a field in which you want to specialise?

We have found ourselves retraining people who have had to walk out of other schools - its messy. Do your research with your feet, not just your ears.

2) Find out if the course is going to equip you for a career and the most difficult clients. You want the most advanced, and modern training available, with the best faculty available. Again, check the qualifications of the full faculty.

3) Find out how long the course is and how often you meet. Some courses are drawn out over 12-18 months but only actually do 20 days face to face. Others like ours do the 20 days over 6 months.

4) Can you get full membership to a professional Australian association (not American - they are usually private companies joinable over the internet) full Malpractice and Public Liability Insurances? Many courses are too short to be approved and you may spend a lot of money and have nobody recognise you. Ask...

5) Ask to speak to existing graduates. Speak to the associations. The people in the profession already know what you need to know. Look up Fair Trading. Some of the schools with good search engine optimisation have been taken to court more than once by their students. You will be ok - just do your homework thoroughly and that means develop a shortlist, and go and see those providers!!

Why learn Hypnotherapy with AICH?

Bill O'Hanlon is coming from the USA in 2011

1) Bill O'Hanlon is coming to Australia to deliver a very special training for a component of our Diploma of Hypnotherapy. Bill is considered by many as the world's leading Hypnotherapist based in the United States.for more go to billohanlon.com

2) This course content is the most advanced Hypnosis course available in this country. It stands at 450 hours and is nationally endorsed by the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists, and its affiliate partners. When you graduate you can walk in to full practice anywhere in Australia, the UK and the USA.

3) This course is drawn from the curriculum of the prestigious Milton Erickson Foundation in Phoenix Arizona, and the work of leading American Hypnotherapist, author and researcher, Dr Michael Yapko. In fact Dr Yapko came to Australia at the request of the school's director and taught a component of the course in July 2010.

4) Importantly, you will train with the most highly qualified faculty in the country. Apart from Bill O'Hanlon (known around the world) you will be trained by the current President of the ASCH, Vice President of the ASCH, former Chair of ASTA (Australasian Subconscious-mind Therapists' Association) and Dr Rob McNeilly, the only Australian ever taught by the father of modern Hypnotherapy, Milton Erickson.

5) On completion you will be able to help people overcome addictions like smoking and drinking, anxiety, depression, stress, change beliefs and behaviour, weight issues and a host of other physical ailments, as well as the crisis moments in their lives.

If you want to specialise in sport, goal achievement, motivation and setting purpose, you can.

6) On completion you will be eligible for Membership to the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists, the premier association in the country, full insurance as a practitioner, and once you have satisfied certain Health Fund requirements, a provider number for health care rebates.

7) On completion you will be supported (this includes web building and internet marketing) to build a practice where you could soon be earning between $60,000 and $100,000 a year working an average of 3 days per week, giving you time for friends, family and other pursuits.

8) You can review any component of the course free of charge. You can also acquire your mandatory first 12 months supervision here. (health fund and association requirement)

9) If you are already a therapist hypnosis will be a magnificent additional treatment tool to help market your practice both to clients and other health professionals who are looking for someone to refer to. Your commitment will be less than those coming in fresh.

10) Learn at your own pace. The face to face component of the course stretches over 6 months, but you can arrange your course work - case studies, reading assignments etc, at your own pace.
